The truth about Christianity

                             UNDERSTANDING THE TRUTH ABOUT CHRISTIANITY

The concept of Christianity has been distorted by men in their effort to make Christ's teaching match with their own desires. They no longer see the drastic changes in modern Christian practices when comparing with the early Christians because their horizon has become narrowed through their false practices.

A Christian in the truest sense of the word is a person who lives his life according to the sense of Christ's teaching; a follower of Christ's principle, not just a person who fulfill all the church demands and attend the daily church services. Jesus Christ confirmed this fact when he said "not those who call me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of my father, but those who do the will of my father". With this His word, He automatically excludes any religious community bearing the name of Christ, from being His followers. To do the will of His father means to love your neighbor as yourself, that is, to do to others what you would want them do to you. If you will not like it when your property is stolen by someone, then do not steal from another. If it cheers your heart when someone gives you a helping hand, then you should extend a helping hand to others. As simple as it sounds, it holds the key that opens the world of happiness.

Today nobody suspect that a person who belongs to another non Christian sect yet, unconsciously lives his life in line with Christ's principle is more Christian in the eye of Christ than a person who spent his earthly days in fulfilling all the demands of the church but lacks love towards his neighbor. Thus a Muslim or a Buddhist can be christ-like in the truest sense than a church goer, as long as he stands aright.

"I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh to God except through me." The above statement does not imply that you must come face to face with Christian indoctrination in order to gain God's acceptance. When Christ said "I am the way" He was referring to His word, His teachings, as He himself is the personification of the living word. If you absorb my word, if you understand the content of my message and live according to it's sense, you will inherit happiness. That is what Christ meant when He made the above statement.

Action is demanded of you, not just your belief. God has no value to derive from the nature of belief you have of Him, nor does it benefit you in any way to cling blindly to whatever creed you wish to adopt about God. Your belief is nothing but the expression of your subconscious desires coupled with your level of comprehension. It does not and cannot affect reality. You are very much aware that the forces of nature and it's laws do not ask for your opinion nor consider the nature of your belief when carrying out their function, yet you still want to place your belief above everything. That is wrong. Your duty is to learn the ways of life through experiencing and, live accordingly, not to lace your senses with ridiculous religious beliefs established by ignorant men.
